Important limitations: This is a simplified annual estimate, not CRA payroll software or a tax return. It applies basic personal credits and the federal Canada Employment Amount, but excludes other credits, deductions, provincial surtaxes and special levies (including Ontario surtax and health premium), Quebec abatement and detailed Quebec tax credits, provincial payroll taxes, pensionable/insurable exceptions, multiple employers, age-related or benefit-related adjustments, and pay-period rounding. Federal basic personal amount phase-out and some provincial personal-amount adjustments are simplified. Actual payroll withholding can differ.
